As a design lead at a Delta Dental Enterprise, I applied design best practices to deliver high-quality solutions for essential business management modules. I was directly responsible for design initiatives of 12 product lines which were shipped successfully in collaboration with cross-functional teams. As a result, we transformed the legacy software with rich data and logic to a modern, intuitive web application which increased employee engagement by 40% and saved an average of 4 hours/week per active business user.

As design lead, I applied effective workflow processes for delivering and documenting design solutions which expedited the design process by 4x. I achieved this by implementing a well-documented design system, interaction patterns, and component libraries.
Meghdad developed an extensive user component library that provided interface patterns that could be applied to standard use cases. The library was extensive and well documented. It is in use today, and I anticipate it will serve us well with our future projects. While developing this library, Meghdad gathered requirements from business and technical users and successfully crafted designs that are compatible with our development library.

I lead as the director of Startup Grind, the world’s largest community of startups, founders, innovators, and creators. Thus far, we've been able to engage with top entrepreneurs such as Chris Yeh (New York Times best-selling author of The Alliance and Blitzscaling), Joshua Montgomery (Founder @Mycroft AI), Peter Rowan (Executive Director @Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship), Shana Palmieri (Co-founder @XFERALL) and more.
I operate from a personal mission which is to create connected, collaborative communities through mastery and empowerment. This mission gave birth to my first startup, Feel Free, which I built in 2013 as a student entrepreneur at ASU. The school partially funded my project; however, it failed due to co-founder conflict.
